TURTLE

The turtle taught us patience and never to give up. Turtle is seen as strength and solidarity- old and wise and well respected. Turtle is one of the three clans of the Oneida Nation. The 13 squares on a turtle's back represent the 13 full moons of the calendar year. 

WIND

We listen and hear the voices of the four winds. We are assured that they are following the instructions of the Creator. They bring us strength and healing. They come from the four directions. For this we give greetings and thanks.
